The Experience

Here you will help us paint walls, make simple furniture, and do light manual work for the rooftop and guest house ♻️🌿. Using waste materials, we create lamps, plant pots, small tables, and cozy decoration items. Tasks include painting, sanding, cutting, assembling furniture, and small fixes. Nothing heavy, just steady hands-on work. When you finish, you can relax by the Nile, chat with neighbors, or rest on the terrace.

I'm grateful I got to contribute to this amazing place and spend time there. The work hours are just and the location in the middle of a true Nubian village and next to the Nile is perfect for an authentic experience in Aswan. Wish you all the best!

I went to Imbonita House, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. I had the time of my life there. Everyone is so kind and friendly—I really recommend going. They have a hostel right in front of the Nile River, and the place is incredibly clean and beautiful. We painted a mural together, we hung out, we talked, and I honestly feel like we became friends. They gave me great recommendations about the city and everything I needed. The atmosphere there is just so warm and beautiful. Thank you so much, the hostel. And thank you, Dr. Andre, for everything. I love you all.

My stay at the hostel – 2 weeks I had an amazing experience staying at the hostel for two weeks. Communication was always clear and straightforward from the start, which made settling in very easy. The working hours were fair and well-balanced, leaving plenty of time to explore and enjoy the area. The work environment was positive and supportive, and I always felt comfortable and safe during my stay. Overall, I'd highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a relaxed, well-organized, and rewarding volunteer exchange.
