I'm glad this was my first experience in an hostel as a staff member. the hostel is the perfect fit for all travellers who like partying and socialising. You always have people around, so you never get bored! But you can also have some times for yourself if you feel like recharging your social batteries. I especially liked how Lara, the manager, tried to accommodate volunteers' needs regarding schedules, showing good flexibility in that. The hostel is also in a pretty good location. It's right next to the tram stop that gets you to the city centre. Would absolutely recommend the experience!!

My experience with OneFamArbes was better than I could ever imagine. The staff and volunteers are friendly, kind, funny, always ready to help and make you feel welcomed, like a family. It's a very social hostel so you get to make new friends everyday. The facilities are great and clean, the hostel is close to a supermarket and the touristic spots but in a less crowded area. The hours of work are exactly what is agreed and mostly involve socializing, so it's very fun and easy to learn. I loved my stay and I recommend it to anyone who likes karaoke, meeting new people and partying.

This was my first volunteer experience and I could not choose better. Lara, Janice, Arlo and Vitor were the best, they helped me with everything I needed. Since the first time they treat you like family. I expended the best month of my life with them. Totally recommended if you are looking for fun, party, and a family forever.

My 8 week long stay at the hostel was even better than I expected. The work itself was chill, versatile and even fun, as a big part of the shifts are just taking the hostel guests to daily activities and parties! Super easy way to meet other travelers! Big shout out to our manager Lara, who always listened to our wishes according to the shifts! However, what made my stay truly exceptional is the hostel community which consists of 4 hostels. Sharing all the activities together made it easy to make friends even outside my hostel! I felt like I was part of a really big family <3
