The Experience

You’ll keep the land thriving: clear brush and paths, repair fences, cut and stack firewood, rebuild dry-stone walls, and start/maintain a small vegetable garden. We value care and autonomy: organize your own workflow, respect tool safety, leave each area better than you found it, and propose concrete, practical improvements.

Nico and Jess were the best hosts that one could ask for. They fed us SO well, showed us the surrounding area, introduced us to friends, gave us meaningful tasks but respected our chill time, and taught us so much about their beliefs and way of life. I'd highly recommend for anyone who seeks an off-grid learning experience completely immersed in beautiful nature and meaningful work that has a positive impact on the environment. Jess and Nico taught me so much about environmental awareness and sustainability, and it has really influenced my perspective on the world. I am very grateful :)

Jess and Nicolas were the most welcoming hosts! Within 2-3 days you'll feel like part of a family with them. They were very informative on their knowledge of living a healthy and sustainable life. They will have many conversations and discussions about certain topics. they are genuinely curious about your take on life. The work was quite fun and Jess and Nicolas will do just as much if not more than you. It is more of a community, rather than a job. overall great experience and highly recommend.

Jess and Nico are amazing hosts, we couldn't have chosen a better place to do our volunteering. We loved being part of their project and helping them build their house and work on the land.

Nico, Jess and their 3 amazing dogs are super welcoming, caring and nice. Tho their place needs a lot of work still, is very welcoming and comfortable. Personally, this experience has helped me a lot to connect with nature and meet very diverse people and opinions. I would really recommend to go and cannot wait to see the progress in their life proyect! P.S: if you get car sick, take some pills though, it's a bit of a bumpy ride to get to the house.

Jess and Nicolas made me feel welcome from the very start. They're super nice and caring, we had fun but also a lot of meaningful conversations. They're really passionate about exchanging knowledge and they made me learn a lot, both in terms of skills and perspectives. I will be forever grateful for this experience even though it was so short, I met wonderful people during my stay and I had the chance to be immersed in one of the most beautiful landscapes I've ever seen. I hope I helped them enough building their dream, and I was very honoured to take part of this journey !
