Super authentic, very fascinating experience. Work is hard, living conditions make it harder. We were building a shower house when I was there so maybe you'll get a place to shower soon? But water is always cold. The amount of sheep i ate as a former vegetarian literally gave me stomach issues. Bring wet wipes, you'll want them. You will be put out of your comfort zone and see a lot of fascinating traditions and ways of life. Altaa is incredibly kind and the kids are awesome. Altaas wife Minjee is an icon and speaks good English, she'll be around.

I had a wonderful and unforgettable time on the farm. I met the best people and learned a lot. Alta's sons are the sweetest, they made this experience even more special. Would love to see them again. It's an unpredictable lifestyle, be prepared for long days, hard work and spontaneous changes of plans. It can be very challenging sometimes. If that's okay with you, lets go!

Aalta and his family are incredible, kind people. This experience was amazing, right enough it was very very hard work, long days, but we were in lambing season so was expected. I genuinely believe this is as close as you can get to being a Mongolian farmer without actually moving here and becoming one. You have to adapt lots, to what I found was a completely different way of life to what I'm used to. Aalta, Batuk, Tuggii and Minjee will always keep you right with a mixture of Mongolian, English and hand gestures. If you're up for it, send it! Big love to all the people involved!

There is a lot to say about this opportunity, but honestly, this was a really unique and fun experience. It's not always easy, it takes time to adjust and some days can be hard because the work lasts all day but I've met the sweetest people, learn a lot and made some truly special memories. This place was really great! I love working with animals and am used to this type of life. I do think that it is very challenging and that should definitely be noted but it is worth the challenge and so fun. Alta and his sons are the best and I would love to come back
