Great place to volunteer! Mike and his wife are super friendly and really make sure you're having a good time. The hostel's location is great as well, and they offer tours you can join for free if you're volunteering. All in all, I'd definitely recommend Global Beach Hostel!

I would never recommend this host, as he was dishonest and manipulative. Before starting the volunteer program, we had agreed that my days off would be Mondays and Saturdays. After two weeks, he told me to leave because I wasn't volunteering on a Saturday , even though it was my confirmed day off, as shown in our Wordpackers messages. He later said he had changed his mind and that volunteers shouldn't have days off at all. When I requested Wordpackers insurance, I had to prove I had been volunteering because he falsely claimed I never showed up.
