The Experience
Join our surf hostel team in Tamraght and help us keep the good energy flowing! You’ll assist with check-ins and check-outs, help during breakfast, interact with guests, and make sure common areas stay welcoming and tidy. We’re looking for someone reliable, proactive, and social, who understands that teamwork and responsibility are part of the experience as much as having time to explore and enjoy the waves.

Volunteering at the guest house Surf House was an incredible and unforgettable experience. I had the opportunity to meet amazing people from all over the world and create memories that will last a lifetime. I felt truly happy during my time there. I fell in love with Tamraght, its people, the vibe, and how safe and welcoming it felt. The staff at the surf house are amazing, and I'll always remember them. They make you feel right at home. I also learned so much from my role and gained very valuable experience, for which I'm very grateful. I really recommend this experience and would do it again :)

My experience was very different from what was described. The 5 daily working hours were not respected — in reality, volunteers stay from around 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on call. This is called “free time,” but you can't leave or plan anything, and there are basically no real days off. There are no shifts, just a bell in the kitchen that rings all day for tasks. If you miss it, people get upset and accuse you of ignoring it. This does not match Worldpackers guidelines. Don't go to this place. Other volunteers there had the same experience!
