It has been my first volunteer experience and I have stayed a few more days here. I am clear that I am going back. I love Siquijor. David is not demanding with the work and gives you creative freedom. And he is very close and has the ability to create a fun environment where everyone feels integrated. There is a very delicious restaurant. It is the perfect place to make friends and create souvenirs. If what you are looking for is to socialize, both with locals and internationals. You will enjoy exploring the island together and going out partying. Not for you if you are a picky person :)

This has been my second volunteer and so far it's been definitely the best. David was so nice that he picked me up from the port; on the first night my phone broke down and he helped me to get around to get a new one. The schedules are pretty flexible and when you're not working usually all the volunteers and him go to have fun and chill in some waterfalls or to the beach. I would definitely recommend this experience and David as a host, I truly hope to be able to repeat this experience. I can say that this hostel feels like a family away from home.

I had a great time volunteering at the hostel! The place is very fun, lots of activities and the people are welcoming and warm! I work remotely so sometimes I can't join their spontaneous adventures and outdoor activities. My main responsibilities were to take videos and edit them for their social media so this also allowed me to be flexible with my time. I really love the small community the hostel has, it allowed me to build relationships with people. If you're looking for a fun and friendly place to volunteer, the hostel it is.
