My experience here lasted a month, and I honestly had a great time. There are plenty of activities to do, but nothing too strict or difficult. They look for proactive people because that's really what it's about giving a hand with cleaning and reception tasks. Whenever possible, you can also help improve the space we all share. I really like that they appreciate people who take initiative. They told me that during high season the place gets full and there's a lot to do, but I was here in a quieter month, which actually allowed me to focus on my own activities and really explore Antigua.

Tati and Antonio (the hosts) are great people, very attentive and friendly, and made me feel very welcome. The hostel is excellent, both the room I stayed in and the overall atmosphere. The work isn't difficult, basically keeping the reception, kitchen, and bathroom organized and clean. I highly recommend it to any volunteer and I would definitely volunteer there again.

I had a great time at the hostel, I didn't really know exactly what I was going to do but the work is simple, it includes keeping the place in order and doing the reception. It's a great opportunity if you're looking for something calm and relax. The place is really nice and so are the people! Tatiana, Antonio and Ethel are really approachable and are there to help if you need anything.

I love the hostel hotel. It's so far has been the best volunteering experience for me. Tatiana is very understanding and welcoming host. She was very supportive of my idea to create yoga classes in Antigua and as well gave me an opportunity to do ones in the hotel itself with. I felt at home in this place. We made a nice bond and friendship. I definitely recommend this place to everyone who is passing by Antigua. Thank you!
