The Experience

O nosso espaço está em meio à Mata Atlântica, onde estamos desenvolvendo um modo de vida mais sustentável, saudável, conectado a natureza. Começamos pela construção da nossa casa, que ainda precisa de finalizações e vamos dar início ao primeiro bangalô onde poderemos receber mais pessoas, e começar a desenvolver retiros e eventos ligados à permacultura e a sustentabilidade. Somos uma família amigável, Maysa (31), Giba (47) e Serena (3).

Voluntariar no the project foi incrível, a Maysa e o Giba são anfitriões maravilhosos, sempre preocupados com nosso bem estar, diálogo aberto e flexibilidade em horários. A Serena é uma criança preciosa e tranquila. Tivemos a oportunidade de dormir em um quarto super confortável e todos os dias havia a possibilidade de pegar carona com a família até a cidade/centro. Trabalhamos na biconstrução do quarto dos voluntários, utilizando técnicas de bambu a pique, taipa de pilão e esterilhas. A alimentação ofertada era super saudável, com frutas, raízes e muitos frutos da grande horta que eles tem.

Minha experiência no the project foi boa. Fui muito bem recebido pelo Giba, Maysa e Serena. O lugar é muito bonito, envolto de mata atlântica, tranquilo, seguro e os valores da família estão conectados com a sustentabilidade. As instalações são boas, o café da manhã e o almoço são saudáveis e nutritivos feitos com maestria pela anfitriã. O trabalho foi intenso no processo de construção de novos espaços, aprendi bastante sobre bioconstrução. Infelizmente, tive que deixar o local após uma semana devido ao ciclone extratropical que atingiu toda a região, o que comprometeu a segurança no geral.
