David and Jaqui provided a really nice place. Small Apartment, great view, Pool and Overall a nice location. David and Jaqui are nice people, they helped us getting a package and were always oben for questions. Working was really boring and mostly the same one task over and over. It also was not really a social experience, it felt like we were there only for work. If you wanna habe a nice time at Davids place, make sure to have a car, otherwise you afe not really free to see new things. It might be a bad experience if your travelling alone and search for social contact.

Sadly Valentin and Elena , really had no work experience and simple tasks like cleaning were not done well, so giving slightly more difficult tasks seem to cause confusion and poor work effort, we clearly let people know they are staying near a beautiful village which you can walk to in 20 minutes , so you don't need a car and we are also flexible with days off so you can travel this lovely part of Andalucia, the funny this is they had a car and never really used it to explore the area.

David and Jaqui are nice people and provided a cozy place for our living. Without a car you don't really get somewhere as it is very off grid. Also important to mention is that you get 30€ for food per week per person. Sadly, the work was no fun, almost all of the three weeks we did the same thing. Besides that, they counted our arrival day as one of our free days. We didn't have much contact with them, really just for work organisation and we didn't meet other people there. If you are looking for a remote place to stay, I can recommend it.

Elena and Valentin, having no real life skills making it hard to give them the 5 hour work , as often I got a blank look when explaining what needed doing, they never really explored the area even with a car and with buses and our help you can get around, I have been hosting for over 15 years on other sites and have lots of 5 star reviews, sadly this couple want to really just be part of a family and do easy chores, hopefully my next helpers from this site will be more pro-active and sociable.
