The Experience
Help us prepare our off-grid Cortijo in the Alpujarra for a new retreat season! Tasks include gardening (weeding, planting succulents, creating borders) and light maintenance in common areas like the yoga platform and bar. Perfect for open-minded, flexible volunteers who love nature, hiking, and peaceful mountain living. We drive daily, so you can easily catch a ride to town or the beach!

Hosts were honest & kind - very fair with their working hours. They understand what volunteering is and how the exchange should work! The other volunteers were also lovely during my stay here. If you don't have a car, I wouldn't worry too much as the hosts kindly provided lifts. The place is also beautiful.

The time at the guest house was really nice. Marijn and Femke are very friendly. The apartment we lived in was clean and comfy and the nights were very quiet. It was a good experience.🤗

It was a nice Experience. Mario is very friendly and we had to da lot of gardening work. The apartment was very comfy and we had everything we need. The Place is very quiet but it's a bit hard to get there with the car. The “rambla” is the way to the retreat center and it's very bumpy so it was very difficult with our car which is very low. All in all it was a nice experience.
