My stay here was amazing! all the benefits you get such as free meals and accommodation heavily outweighs the 3 hours of teaching you do. and even the teaching isn't too bad, the children are fun to teach and are always curious about you :) the school, dana and owen are all really nice and i'll also really miss guacamo loll. i will miss the cafe hopping, dinners outside and pickleball! definitely would recommend this experience to everyone!!

The school is a great host! He is truly a definition of a selfless and kind person. Truly amazing stay. The kids at school are great, and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Big thanks also must go to Owen and Dana for making the stay even more comfortable. Love xxx See you!

Though this experience was to help teach the children, I feel that I learned a lot. When doing speaking practice with the more advanced ones, I had the opportunity to speak to them about a wide range of things, and I learned a little about how they view the world. I also learned about myself when trying to figure out the style of teaching that suited the students and myself. the school was very welcoming, and receptive to the needs of the volunteers. The other members of staff were kind and helpful too!

The school was very welcoming and I really appreciated the way he was carring about us (asking for our favorite drink, taking us on karaoke session for my last evening โ€ฆ) The classes are well organized: a progressive program is planned for each group. We mainly teach with flashcards , except for some teenagers who are more advanced. The children have to repeat the word they see on the flashcard, and are a bit able to make little sentences. Classes last 1h30 each, 2 classes a day. Better if you can drive a scooter as there is much more to do outside of the town. You can rent one from the school !

It was a good experience. The kids are very friendly and it feels great to see that they progress because of you. You even get to hang out with them on the weekend, when they come learn into the homestay to practice some more speaking. The host the school is very nice, it is quite fun to sit with him and chat over some games, when he is not busy with the English school. During the free time you can rent a scooter and go explore the surrounding beaches, possibly with the other volunteers who stay there too.
