The hostel is a wonderful place to volunteer with! Ricardo is super communicative, kind, and flexible with the schedule if needed. Since it was rainy season, I was able to work longer shifts to get more full days off to explore the area. I mainly helped at reception and cleaning since breakfast isn't served in the hostel during off season. The work was easy, quick to learn and understand, and hours were respected!

I had a great time at the hostel. I was able to enjoy this lovely mountain town whilst volunteering. Ricardo was an amazing host and helped me out whenever I needed it. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of volunteering in Huaraz.

I had a great time at the hostel. I had to help with breakfast, the work was a lot of fun and after breakfast I had the whole day to explore Huaraz and all the beautiful hikes around town.Ricardo and Iris are such nice People, they made my stay even better. They are very welcoming and kind and and will help you with everything. The hostel is nice as well. The room and infrastructrure are great, you have everything you need there. I also met many other travelers there, which was very nice. I had two amazing weeks at the hostel and can definitely recommend volunteering there!

This was my first volunteer , so at first I was a little scared, but when I started volunteering at the hostel I realized that, even if the place and other things were new, it would be fine. Mr. Ricardo and Mrs. Iris are friendly and kind, the infrastructure of the hostel is nice and cozy. I recommend this place if you want to improve your English, eat delicious ice cream, go hiking or something more relaxed like the hot springs.

The experience was bonissima! The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and very patient with my Spanish. The hours are respected, the infrastructure of the hostel is great as well. Ricardo, the manager, is super cool, respectable and easy to talk with. I do recommend the opportunity for those who wants to know the city and do incredible hikings!
