Vivi dias leves e imersos em arte em São João del Rei, tanto no anfitrião quanto nas ruas, a cidade respira música, em especial o "Choro". Fui muito bem acolhido pelo Monge - que estava com a perna quebrada durante minha estadia - e pela sua mãe, Cida, que estava lá ajudando ele na recuperação, e pelo Pixinguinha, o gatinho que é um grude e ama brincar. As tarefas foram leves e os horários muito flexíveis, fui livre para fazer meus horários e poder viver a experiência da cidade, rodeada por natureza, cachoeira, escalada, história... Gratidão Monge, Cida e Pixinguinha ❤️

Ficar hospedada em um espaço de arte foi muito bacana. O espaço fica bem no coração do centro historico de São João Del Rei, próximo de tudo. Você acaba contribuindo com atividades diversas dentro do seu período de trabalho. Monge é um cara super legal, sempre aberto ao diálogo, o que proporciona boas trocas. Um excelente lugar para viver a cultura e arte são joanense. E a cereja do bolo é o mascote Pixinguinha! Obrigada Monge por me receber, até breve!

Tivemos desencontros significativos em relação ao que era esperado da vaga. Ao chegar, dormi em um colchão no chão, no canto de um quarto completamente desorganizado e sem qualquer preparo para receber um voluntário, o que foi extremamente desconfortável. No dia seguinte, precisei aguardar por horas para conseguir falar com o anfitrião. Além disso, o café da manhã informado não foi oferecido, e tive que arcar com essa despesa do meu próprio bolso. O local necessita de reformas e de uma estrutura mínima adequada para receber voluntários. Com essas melhorias, a experiência poderia ser positiva.
