I had a great 2 week experience here. Rob, the manager, is very kind and easy to talk to. The community feels like a family - warm, respectful, and welcoming. I did various tasks like gardening, cleaning, setting up beds, and handing out flyers for an upcoming event. Hours are flexible and respected, with daily morning meetings. Rob gives you Β£35/week for groceries, and they often invite you to share meals. A peaceful place to learn about Buddhism and the project. Also the area is well connected by bus and metro. One of the best places I've volunteered! missing everyone! :)

This has been a really great experience where I learned a lot of things. Rob, the manager, is one of the kindest people I've ever met. If you have any problem, you'll feel comfortable talking to him. All the volunteers we stayed with, as well as the hosts, are really caring, cheerful & respectful. You do the work with a lot of enthusiasm bc u feel so comfortable - it doesn't seem like work, but rather a contribution to the community of volunteers and hosts. You receive money to buy food, so u won't need to spend anything. & the place is located in a really lovely and peaceful neighborhood!

I loved my time at the project, and will definitely go back and stay again! All of the tasks were enjoyable, quite easy, and variable, so I I got to try out different things each day. Rob is super communicative, understanding, and flexible with taking time off and letting us choose which tasks suited us each day. The other volunteers were lovely, and I made friends for life. The dorms and facilities are all clean and comfortable, and the kitchen is spacious. the project is peaceful, with a beautiful garden to spend free time in. It's well located near public transport for trips into London city.

Volunteering at the project Center was a truly beautiful experience. Rob is such a kind person. From the beginning, he made us feel so welcome and supported in everything. We also had the chance to explore the city. The energy of the place is really special, and Rob's leadership makes everything flow so smoothly. We're going to miss you all so much, hope to see you soon!!
