Staying at Bellavista was really nice, I loved it. The structure is totally new, the food they provided me was the best food you can find during a volunteer and also in Morocco (thanks Mariam)! I had the opportunity to meet Ilaria, which works there and was truly caring and friendly with me during all my stay. She was also planning my “schedule” / work and was also very flexible, the work was really easy and totally can immerse you into the life there. You'll da lot of day trip and have the opportunity to meet the real part of Morocco, not the touristic ones.

I volunteered with a friend to manage the hostel's social media in exchange for accommodation. The village was beautiful, the locals were kind, and the cultural experience was enriching. However, communication with management was unclear from the start, leading to misunderstandings and an uncomfortable work environment . When my friend decided to leave early, she was kicked out the same day without discussion, which felt unprofessional. While the experience was valuable overall, we recommend future volunteers clearly agree on expectations in writing to avoid similar issues.

Your stay at our surf house wasn’t planned — you only came to avoid leaving your friend alone and ended up enjoying a free holiday without doing anything for the project. You left earlier just because your friend did. This was our mistake: we will no longer accept inexperienced volunteers who can’t take basic responsibility or handle simple tasks, especially with no guests to manage. You even blamed communication when you were actually free to organize your work but failed to do so.

I absolutely loved the town and the locals but sadly there was a lot of miscommunication going on with the manager and I was thrown out the same day I announced that I want to leave earlier than planned which left me homeless. I wish we could've resolved our problems together but that wasn't possible.

When Anja arrived, we offered her a private triple room as a courtesy, explaining it was temporary and she would later move to the dorm. We also hosted her friend so she wouldn’t feel alone, giving both of them accommodation with breakfast and dinner included. Her only task was creating content, but in 3 weeks she produced only 1 video and showed no organization. When asked to move to the dorm as agreed, she refused and decided to leave early with her friend. We don’t recommend hosting her,
