Volunteering at the host was an amazing experience! I was warmly welcomed and felt part of a project that goes beyond growing plants: it is a space for learning, community, and sustainability. I helped take care of the garden beds, with maintenance, and joined collective activities that connected me not only to nature but also to people. Minha experiência no anfitrião foi incrível, a começar pelo acolhimento recebido por esta bela família, o idealizador e anfitrião Gustavo, sua amável esposa Samanta, sua linda filha o anfitrião e o seu pai, Sr Milton, um ser humano maravilhoso, além de músico. No dia a dia no anfitrião, recebi ajuda do César, um voluntário fixo e amigo aqui do projeto. Com isso, pude cultivar as verduras orgânicas nos canteiros, retirar as ervas invasoras, regar e aprender sobre compostagem. Para mim, foi como uma terapia ao meio da natureza.

Minha experiência na Hora o anfitrião foi positiva. As pessoas foram acolhedoras e acabei criando laços que tornaram a vivência ainda mais especial. O tempo no anfitrião foi, sem dúvida, o que mais me motivou e onde me senti mais conectada ao projeto. No entanto, boa parte das horas acabou sendo voltada à cozinha e à limpeza, o que foi diferente do que eu esperava. Ainda assim, participei com dedicação e até fiquei além do previsto, porque os momentos no anfitrião realmente fizeram tudo valer a pena. Sou grata pela experiência e por tudo que aprendi nesse tempo.
