Description
We charge an extra fee to help maintain the NGO and ensure the continuity of our projects. This amount directly contributes to expenses such as food, educational materials, basic utilities and also to the renovation of our space, allowing us to provide a better environment for the children and volunteers.

The Experience
At Associação Ágape, we believe that learning a new language can open doors, change futures, and empower dreams. We are looking for passionate volunteers to join our Free Language Education Project, offering English, Spanish, and French classes to young people aged 12 to 18. If you love teaching and want to help transform lives, join us. Together, we can give these young people the tools they need to dream bigger and go further!

My experience at the organization was beyond what I imagined. From the very first day you feel at home. Maisa, Maria Estela, Leisa and Fernandho welcome you like family. It's a deeply immersive way to discover Rio, taking part in community life, joining and even helping plan activities for the kids. You're surrounded by music, joy, and genuine connection every day. Even without knowing the language, you start to understand and communicate so quickly with them that it feels effortless. I leave with gratitude, unforgettable memories, and the hope to return.

I am eternally grateful for the incredible experience I had with the organization. Volunteering here truly feels like a home away from home; this family-run organization cares deeply about their volunteers. When I was sick, I was taken care of, when I needed something, they would be sure to help out, and they went above and beyond in every aspect. The work expected is very reasonable and very rewarding, and you get to engage with and help the community. I am so happy I volunteered here, but I'm sad my time was so short. I could not recommend this experience more, and I'd love to return to the organization soon :-)
