The Experience

Each volunteer is assigned to travel with the host, enjoying the local culture, cuisine, and valuable tourist attractions. Basic photography and videography skills are highly needed to produce good videos—professional expertise is not required, as the focus is more on collaboration and enjoying togetherness. This will be very exciting: the volunteer will always be invited to go on trips, and the host will benefit from being included in journey.

The Best 1 month ever! I had such a great time spending with the home, his family and neighbours. the home is very flexible host, and we travelled a lot in West Sumatra and shared so much joy and memory together! West Sumatra has a rich culture of Minangkabau ethnic, beautiful nature, amazing people and delicious cuisine! This place has a lot to offer for all travellers, especially nature lovers! For volunteer work, it was a bit hard to teach for 3~12 years old kids at the same time, but so fun to mingle with innocent kids full of curiosity. Thank you for having me and see you again! 🤗

I had such a great experience with the home. I love these kids! They are so sweet and so eager to learn. They love to play any games. (I'd suggest bringing some sort of game they'd love you for it haha) the home was happy to go to many waterfalls and to the city. His home and his family are so warm and welcoming. This place is special to my heart and I'd love to return!

I was with the home for around three weeks and it's been an amazing experience, he and his family are extremely kind. the home helps you with anything you need and he takes you on day trips during the days off. The people from the village are also very nice and the work with the children is great, they are very curious and keen to learn. It is also a very quiet, peaceful environment, i recommend it.☺️
