Working at the bar in the hostel was a great experience! The place is absolutely stunning and the people who work there are almost exclusively locals from the coast. The volunteers were a lovely bunch too. Meeting them and getting to know them was the best part of the experience. The work itself is not difficult but it gets a bit repetitive to mainly wash glasses and clean tables for six hours a day. I would have liked to be more involved in making cocktails and learn a bit that way. The food was very good, the volunteer dorm was a bit too humid though. Still: highly recommended!

The hostel felt like home away from home from the moment I got there. The staff and other volunteers were amazing, the food was delicious, I felt safe the entire time, and the discounts were super nice! I would recommend this experience to anyone! ❤️

The hostel is a very welcoming place. The team members are all kind and helpful locals from santa marta, medellin, etc. Everyone is happy to help you learn Spanish. If you are quite new to Spanish, you don't need to feel like you'll be left out of conversations or social opportunities. Also the food and the accom is great Thanks for the time here guys 💛

The Hostel is crazy cool, staff is lovely, perfect place if you like to party and meet new people. Its really well organised for the volunteers. 3 great meal a day, 30% discounts on everything and free nights in others hostels of the coast. The job at the bar is quite chill, nothing crazy to do and at the reception more dynamics but really cool, it gives the opportunies to speak and practice spanish every day with guests. And Paco your supervisor is the GOAT but really bad at ping pong. Safe Area and heaven place to stay for weeks. Definitly worth it !

I had a super nice experience at the hostel, the place is beautiful on the beach with delicious meals (also for vegetarians) and the team is super nice. The job was helping the bartenders so it's easy. The 2 days off are consecutive so you can spend 1 night for free in a Hostel in Santa Marta, Minca or Palomino due to the partnership. The dorms: simple but you have space for your things and curtains on the beds. The negative: paying to wash our clothes and the toilets aren't very clean. I recommend you to volunteer here, the place is perfect if you like to party by the sea.
