The Experience

Hola, soy José Ignacio y hemos abierto en mayo del 2025. Conozco bien la vida en un albergue. He viajado por todo el mundo y he estado en muchos. El albergue quiere ser un espacio cultural abierto también a la gente local. Intentaremos divertirnos al máximo tanto en el trabajo como fuera de él. El albergue cuenta con 4 habitaciones y un total de 26 camas, una zona común de salón-comedor y una gran cocina. ¡Os esperamos!

Jose Ignacio and the team were welcoming and helpful! The housekeeping and reception work was fair and well organized with a schedule. The hostel was fairly quiet and relaxing. It was not too social as some hostels are but made for a good chance for some R&R.

In short, complete CHAOS! The first day, the staff got me locked out of my room(had to wait 3h until someone woke up and let me in).In 3 days, they gave me 4 different codes for the door because they kept messing up. The teaching was completedly inadequate; on my first shift, I knew how to use the software but nobody had told me the laptop's password, where the key to the storage room was etc. There's no autonomy, leadership, or structure whatsoever. I felt like I was in a psychiatric ward. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

No pude pedir un mejor lugar para hacer mi primer voluntariado! José Ignacio me explico todo muy bien, es muy amable y siempre preocupado por sus voluntarios. Siempre respeto los horarios y me ayudó cada que lo necesite. Los demás voluntarios también fueron muy lindos, conmigo, trabajamos en equipo y siempre ayudándonos! El Hostel está muy bien ubicado lo que me ayudó a conocer todo Vitoria! Realmente lo recomiendo. Espero volver ✨🎡
