The Experience

We would love for you to join us on this adventure. We are currenty remodelling 2 bathrooms and installing a kitchen and looking for volunteers who can help with building and painting tasks. We are relatively flexible with when you want to work so long as the 4 hour a day minimum is reached. There are beautiful beaches, cities, forests and mountains close by. We provide 1 meal a day, 5 days a week. On the weekends we do not provide meals.

Suki and Steve, along with their son Roco, are such a kind and thoughtful family :) Always respectful and considerate, never imposing, and always checking if things are okay rather than assuming. They're open-minded and happy to share their culture ! When it comes to work, Steve gives you autonomy and really values people who are serious and committed. Staying with them and with the other volunteers was a real pleasure. I truly enjoyed our conversations and the time we spent together 😇

Suki and Steve were amazing. Whenever I asked them for advice on public transport or the best places to visit, they always tried their best to help. I really appreciated how much they would go out of their way to make sure that I am many other volunteers felt comfortable. I think that they are creating a beautiful community of volunteers. Oh what a wonderful experience I had at the farm! Suki & Steve create such a lovely environment where people feel welcomed, comfortable and valued. Being able to have my own space was amazing, all while also having the opportunity to engage in community during the family style meals. A true home away from home. The work is reasonable for the current state of this beautiful Masia. I came with a mindset of wanting to support the development of this project and it felt very fulfilling, and celebrating each others wins at the end of each day made it all worth it! Thank you Suki and Steve!

Steve and Suki were absolutely incredible hosts. the farm is gorgeous and I proud to say that I was there to help! I would definitely recommend coming for atleast a week or two to really get involved in the local community and try to explore more of what the culture has to offer.

I don't even know how to begin describing how great my stay at the farm was. Suki and Steve are amazing hosts who truly care about your well-being. The place is a stunning 19th century masía on the quiet outskirts of a small town. The working hours are flexible, and I mainly helped in the garden. Steve was always offering to drive us to the beach and share great recommendations for the nearby towns. Thank you, Steve and Suki, for welcoming me and trusting me with your home. I hope to come back in the future to help out more—I can't wait to see the progress of this beautiful masía.
