The Experience

Buscamos alguien que nos ayude a tomar fotos y videos de la vida en este territorio y los talleres. En Corazón de Selva queremos crear un espacio de formación para las niñas y niños de la comunidad de Termales. Soñamos educar desde cuatro pilares: Arte, Medio Ambiente, Saberes Ancestrales y auto-conocimiento. Necesitamos a alguien que documente o visibilice lo que hacemos. El costo de comidas es aprox. 12-20$ diario (50.000-70.000 COP).

No podría haber elegido mejor mi primer voluntariado en Corazón de Selva. Desde el primer día fui recibida con los brazos abiertos y me sentí realmente como en casa. Conocer a Alegría y a su fundación fue maravilloso y permitirme ser parte de este proyecto es algo que llevaré guardado en mi corazón por siempre !!! Trabajarcon niños del proyeto afrodescendientes me permitió conocer otra forma de educación y otra cultura tan diferente a la mía. Poder descubrir sus riquezas y poder dejarles mi granito de arena en una educación más amorosa y creativa fue realmente hermoso. Seguramente volveré

Llegué al Chocó y la selva chocana me abrazó de una forma que no sabía que necesitaba. Me devolvió al ser, al centro, a lo simple y a lo verdadero. Esta experiencia fue una oportunidad precisa para reconectar con el proyeto, con la tierra y con el amor, de ese que no hace ruido pero lo sostiene todo. Aquí las niñas y los niños son amor puro. Hacen surf, liberan tortugas, caminan la selva y nos enseñan sobre frutas, plantas y ciclos de la vida con una naturalidad que conmueve. Aprender de ellos es recordar que la sabiduría también nace del juego, de la curiosidad y amor.
