The Experience

Join us @rei.wamba_guesthouse In Vila Velha de Ródão , 3 hours away from Lisbon ( train), you can find restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, gym, museums , library and beautiful natural landscapes. Public transports allow for exploring cities in center Portugal like Lisbon and Coimbra. We need help around the GuestHouse tasks. It’s calm and friendly environment, perfect for slow living. Digital nomads also welcome!

This was my first Worldpackers experience, so I was a bit nervous going into it but Telmo showed me so much kindness and hospitality. He always made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The workload is very easy, I enjoyed the things I did, and if you ever have any questions about anything Telmo is there to happily help. He welcomed me to multiple home cooked meals, and provided comfortable accommodations. The area the guesthouse is in is very quiet, with beautiful scenery. There is also a grocery store only a 7 minute walk from the guesthouse, which I found very convenient.

I had an amazing time! Very light work, always had a filling breakfast, and slept very comfortably!! The shower is super nice and the location is beautiful! You have a private room and shared bathroom :) Telmo showed me around the town and it was gorgeous! He showed me so much hospitality, and is incredibly thoughtful and kind! Best place I've ever stayed as a Worldpacker! Thank you thank you Telmo!

I highly recommend this experience! The host is very kind and friendly, and the workload was light and easy. The house is located in a small, quiet town, which is beautiful in itself, but the train station is only a 2-minute walk away, making it very convenient to explore places like Lisbon. The host provided a comfortable room, access to the kitchen and dining area, as well as snacks. He also kindly invited me to delicious home-cooked meals. Since it was my first time with Worldpackers, I was a little nervous, but I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! very pleasant experience.

Excelente experiência. O Telmo é uma pessoa excepcional, aberto a ideias e preocupado com o bem estar do voluntário. A guest house é tranquila, o trabalho simples, fácil de realizar e tempo nos sobra. Indico para quem precisa e queira descansar a mente e retomar as energias. Ou para quem faz home office também é perfeito. Ao lado da estação de comboios, de onde você pode chegar e partir para onde quiser. Gratidão Telmo Bem haja🤍
