The Experience

Looking for someone to help care for my four rescue dogs with feeding, walking, cleaning their space. And support with daily house tasks like tidying, cooking, and laundry. You’ll have your own room, shared meals, and lots of quiet nature and space to be creative and go hiking. If you’re responsible, love animals, and enjoy simple living, I’d be super happy to welcome you.

I really enjoyed my stay and felt an instant connection with both Charlotte and the dogs (Zeytin, Yaz, Karma, and Boncuk). The work was rewarding, the atmosphere relaxed and peaceful, a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the home. Charlotte is a wonderful and well-travelled host with plenty of fascinating stories from her adventures around the world. Halfway through my stay, a couple from Argentina joined as volunteers, and it was great to share the experience with fellow travellers and have more hands to help out. Overall, I'd happily recommend to anyone who enjoys animals + outdoors

This was my first work exchange experience, I was absolutely delighted to stay at the home. I had a wonderful time with the dogs and gained a deeper understanding of local life. My main tasks included feeding and walking the dogs, tidying up the garden and backyard, and helping with some house decorations. Overall, the work wasn't too demanding, with ample time for rest. The Pyrenees offer stunning scenery, providing a peaceful rural experience. I'd definitely come back if I had the chance.
