The Experience

Looking for someone to help care for my four rescue dogs with feeding, walking, cleaning their space. And support with daily house tasks like tidying, cooking, and laundry. You’ll have your own room, shared meals, and lots of quiet nature and space to be creative and go hiking. If you’re responsible, love animals, and enjoy simple living, I’d be super happy to welcome you.

Our volunteering experience in France was beautiful and very enriching. Charlotte is a kind, warm, and respectful host who made us feel welcome from the first moment. The place is peaceful and surrounded by the home, and her four lovely dogs add a special and joyful energy that makes you feel at home. The work was clear, well organized, and well balanced with free time. It felt natural and meaningful, not like an obligation. It's perfect for travelers looking for a genuine exchange, tranquility, and a caring host. A truly unforgettable experience.

I had a lovely week here! Charlotte is a welcoming and kind host. She's a great conversationalist with lots of interesting stories to tell, and it was so nice to relate to another half-Turkish person like me. Her dogs are super cute and friendly as well. If you like to go on walks in the home and be near beautiful mountains, this experience is for you. Charlotte always respected the work hours and I was always well-rested and felt at ease.

I really enjoyed my stay and felt an instant connection with both Charlotte and the dogs (Zeytin, Yaz, Karma, and Boncuk). The work was rewarding, the atmosphere relaxed and peaceful, a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the home. Charlotte is a wonderful and well-travelled host with plenty of fascinating stories from her adventures around the world. Halfway through my stay, a couple from Argentina joined as volunteers, and it was great to share the experience with fellow travellers and have more hands to help out. Overall, I'd happily recommend to anyone who enjoys animals + outdoors

This was my first work exchange experience, I was absolutely delighted to stay at the home. I had a wonderful time with the dogs and gained a deeper understanding of local life. My main tasks included feeding and walking the dogs, tidying up the garden and backyard, and helping with some house decorations. Overall, the work wasn't too demanding, with ample time for rest. The Pyrenees offer stunning scenery, providing a peaceful rural experience. I'd definitely come back if I had the chance.

Esperamos volver a verte pronto!
