Could not recommend this experience enough! Truly the most genuine, funny, welcoming family. The work was very manageable and fair and left plenty of time for yourself. I was included in everything and had so many opportunities to explore the island!

We had the most incredible time at the hostel. Chris and Katie are welcoming and kind, and made sure we felt at home in our lovely little cabin. The hostel work was done in the morning, which gave us heaps of time to explore the beautiful Isle of Barra. Being able to use their bikes and kayaks was a great way to see much more of the Island including getting to swim in some of the most beautiful beaches. Such an unforgettable experience, thanks so much for everything.

We loved our stay on Barra. The hostel is cosy with great views and facilities and the cabin for the wardens is private and semi self contained. The island itself is beautiful with plenty to explore and we had the use of bikes and kayaks throughout our stay. Thanks so much for an amazing experience!
