I'm leaving with a bittersweet feeling. The island is beautiful and hours are flexible, but this comes from poor organization and lack of professionalism. I often had my free day moved to the next week and never had the last one. Sometimes I only had two meals due to kitchen chaos, and food variety was minimal—scrambled eggs twice a day while better food was “for guests.” Ángel was kind but major organizational changes are needed. Power cuts were constant, my room had no light for a month, and nature's animals are common. I wouldn't repeat, though I'm grateful for knowing the island and diving

Vivir frente a esas aguas cristalinas es una experiencia increíble. Resalto la flexibilidad del horario, cuando quería hacer alguna actividad en el horario de trabajo se podía negociar fácilmente y cumplir las horas después. Por otro lado pienso que hay me mejorar en cuidar la salud de los voluntarios que aunque no hacemos parte del "equipo de trabajo" es necesario tener una protección personal, el uso de guantes y tapabocas me parece fundamental a la hora de realizar tareas de limpieza. También sufrí un robo lo que me dejó muy decaída aunque al final me respondieron una parte gracias por eso

Estuve un mes haciendo voluntariado en el hostel el hotel y la verdad fue una experiencia increíble. La pasé súper bien, el ambiente es relajado y lleno de buena vibra. Conocí gente genial de diferentes países, compartimos momentos únicos y aprendí muchísimas cosas nuevas. El lugar es hermoso, perfecto para desconectar y disfrutar de la isla. Me sentí muy bien recibida desde el primer día. Recomiendo totalmente vivir la experiencia aquí, ya sea como voluntario o huésped.
