The hostel.. a place built on the foundations of support, community, kindness and connection. All of which we received in full by Uriel and his family. Uriel was always supportive, clear communication and a genuine interest in helping and connecting with both volunteers and guests. If you naturally seek connection, having conversations and attending family dinners… then it really doesn't feel like work as you would do all the volunteer expectations anyway. The hostel is set in beautiful nature, the homemade foods are divine and with all day to explore it truly is incredible!! Adored it here!

My experience with the hostel have been one for the books. From the moment i arrived i instantly felt so welcomed and embraced by everyone at the hostel, especially the staff. This being my first volunteer experience i really have to say it really exceed my expectations, and that is all a massive thank you to Uriel (the host) for being the most kind, compassionate and empathetic human being ever. As a lover of nature and cosy spaces, it was a genuine pleasure to experience living at the hostel, where the ambience is so welcoming and homey. Definitely recommend.

I absolutely recommend volunteering at the hostel. The exchange is absolutely fair, while you're not working you are seen as a guest and encouraged to explore the island as much as possible. Through the host you get many opportunities for activities and immersing yourself in the islands life. The hostel is a peaceful place and food is amazing. Staff, the family and all the animals will welcome you immediately as part of the hostel Fam.

Volunteering at the hostel has been the highlight of my trip. From the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by warm, genuine people. Uriel, his family, and the team are some of the most amazing people I've met. They make the place feel like home, especially with shared meals that create a sense of belongingness. The tasks were light, fun, and well organized, giving me plenty of time to explore the island. Having a co-volunteer felt like having a sister to share everything with. I'm leaving with so much gratitude and memories I'll cherish forever! ♡
