The Experience

The help required during your stay will vary between basic yard work, to clearing land and building various structures, as well as, some cooking and cleaning. We are building a concrete couch, hot-tub by the pool etc. You are self motivated, take initiative, if you see something that needs to be done, and have a strong work ethic.

Staying at Jason's place was an awesome experience. Everyone of the family is super nice and welcoming. The tasks were very interesting and not boring at all! I'd highly recommend you staying at Jason's if you want to be outdoors and meet new people. We spent our days off fishing and exploring the Island.

We spent the home unforgettable weeks at the home with our two kids, and the experience was fantastic. From day one, Joy, Jeane, and Jason made us feel at home and gave us wonderful support on our arrival in Canada. They treated our children with such kindness. The property is beautiful, with a pool, forest trails, and adorable dogs. Work was flexible and diverse—gardening, apple picking, pool care, and organizing spaces. We also discovered amazing hidden spots thanks to their local tips. A truly special family we now call friends!

Had such a fun experience here, made good friends with the other travellers. Learnt many new skills, the hosts are very encouraging of giving anything a go without worrying if it was perfect. The hosts were really great at allowing us to explore the island and would often take us on day trips. Great work life balance, I only felt that I could've helped out with more!
