My experience with Marian and Jan was positive. They were both very flexible and understanding. The work was very easy and I had plenty of opportunities to explore the hostel with other volunteers. Overall, I recommend it!

I really enjoyed my stay in Slovakia. The work wasn't very hard; I helped in construction, and it was nice. I could connect with other volunteers, and we made some plans. The nature is very beautiful; it is surrounded by the Carpathian Mountains. There were some frozen lakes; I hiked a lot. The host is very flexible. Everything was okay.

I loved my time at the hostel! It was my first volunteering and it definetly convinced me to do more of them. It was the low season so we didn't have a lot of work to do, which allowed me to discover the hostel fully and it was amazing! The host Marian was really nice and we really had a great time with him and the team of volunteers. We had movie nights, little parties and lots of hiking together, so I really felt at home for two weeks. Will definitly remember this experience and all the fun I had. If you love the mountains and people, I can only recommend this place!:)

Thank you for such a lovely volunteering. I Had a Lot of fun with the other Volunteers and the Host Marian . He is very friendly and also gives you recommondations on what to See and do. We always played games and watch Movies together, which made it feel like a Little Family. The task in the hostel are very easy (cleaning, making beds). I volunteered during off Season, so there was not so much to do, which gave me the opportunity to hike and see a Lot of the hostel. If you love the nature, this Place should be on your List. 😊

Overall I had a really good time working at the hostel, the work was very light and had plenty of time to explore because it was low season and not a lot of guests. If you want to do hiking and like being outdoors, this is a good place for you. Special thanks to the manager Lisa, she really made the experience <3

I had a great time during my stay at the hostel! The location of the hostel is amazing and you get plenty of opportunities to hike around the hostel Tatras. The jobs that we had to do were pretty simple however at times a lack of management led to long hours and unscheduled work. The people, both guests and volunteers, you meet here are amazing though and definitely add to the experience!

The hostel is well-maintained and very welcoming. Its location is ideal for exploring the hostel Tatras and exploring new routes every day. The other volunteers I met made this experience a lot of fun. On the other hand, Lisa (the host) was incredibly attentive throughout and took great care with every detail. I would recommend this experience if you like the mountains.

My experience at Hiker's hostel was great, the place is nice, the nature surrounding truly amazing, and the people I was volunteering with were super cool! Lisa the hostel manager makes you feel truly at home, and does everything so that you have the best stay possible! Thank you so much Lisa:)
