The Experience

I'm looking for someone to help me train my 18 Alaskan Huskies this autumn and winter. Basically it's almost 100% work with the dogs. Training them socializing, feeding, cleaning etc. Experience working with dogs is a advantage but I can teach you everything about the dogs, driving sleds, ATVs, snowmobiles ... as long as you a motivated and a fast learner.

I was hoping to enjoy my time at Stepan's place but I cannot recommend the experience to others unless extremely enthusiastic about dogs and dogsledding. Agreed upon work hours and tasks were completed as expected. Stepan was offended by how I spent my time after work. After working mornings for Stepan I spent the rest of the day either fishing or fulfilling my responsibility to my employer working remotely. This bothered Stepan deeply and he made it increasingly clear over the course of my stay that he did not want me there. He asked me to leave early citing a lack of enthusiasm for the dogs.

I don't have any problems with anyone fulfilling their responsibilities to their remote work. BUT if this affects the work itself being late and tried every second day because the remote work last until late in the evening I do have a problem with it.
