A beautiful place surrounded by forest. Expect an adventurous motorcycle ride to get there. You can truly get into touch with nature and it's rhythms. da sweaty day's work and a then take a refreshing swim in the lovely waterfall pool. See tiny monkeys and cool lizards. Although Nicolas cannot be there physically present all the time, he was well available through WhatsApp to brainstorm with us and instruct us on the work at hand. It was a lovely communal experience; we cooked, did dishes and cleaned in turns. On free days we walked to the town, and to the lovely nearby the farm Honda.

Our experience was great, lovely nature and the waterfall is amazing. Nicolas primarily manages remotely but keeps in good contact so no problems. The work is hard but rewarding.

La the farm is in really beautiful nature. You are surrounded by hills, forest, a lot of nice birds and even monkeys. Its a good place to bond with nature and enjoy it. Workwise you can do different tasks. Wether its maintenance, gardening or creating you own projects. You can be creative. Niclas wasn't there when I was volunteering there so you need be proactive and show self initiative, but then you will have a great time. And it's a perfect place for digital nomads.

A lovely place to connect with nature. It's in the mountains, not accessible by car and is a 40minute walk into the local town, or you can pay for a mototaxi. This means you can really enjoy the quiet, wildlife and waterfalls! Nicolas isn't always at the house but he provides you with plenty of tasks which you can pick from, including gardening, construction and maintenance. You have to be willing to use your own initiative and instincts when doing the tasks but can do ones that interest you and Nicolas is really responsive over the phone. Loved the cows& monkeys!

Nicolas replied

Hey, it was great having you and you’re right, I can’t always be there because I don’t have my residency yet but I hope to have it next year so I’ll be around the farm a lot more! And you were awesome about communicating through videos photographs. I think it worked pretty well. Like you said, it leaves a little more flexibility, creativity and an opportunity for you to spread your wings rather than being micromanaged. I’m so happy you had a good time. Come back anytime!
