I had a wonderful time working on the sunset the boat with Sing and the team! All the description are true, the work is not hard and enjoyable. I guess you need to be sociale for that volunteering, but it's not complicated : welcoming the passengers on board and doing the entertainment in English (and other languages you can speak if needed). Work from 4 to 7pm, you have plenty of free time to explore the city and around. The accommodation is in a peaceful place, outside the city but walkable. Meals are really good. I totally recommend it!

The experience was very good. Being on the boat every day was really enjoyable, with breathtaking scenery all around. The work was quite relaxed, which allowed us to explore the city during our free time. It was a great opportunity to get to know Luang Prabang.

It was a unique experience working on the sunset the boat! I worked 5 days, 3 hours per day, watched the sunset. My tasks were welcoming the guests and checking their tickets, informing them about activities, collecting bottles and plates end of the day. Really easy, recommend (: Guesthouse 30min walk away from the city center, area it's a bit dark and isolated at the evenings -with dogs-. Building made from bamboo and doors open so it's cold. Shower not hot, area so noisy because of the animals, home parties and construction at the morning and evenings. Breakfast great, beds comfy. Thank you :)

This volunteer experience was incredible. The Hostel is not right next to the city center, but it's not too far either, a 20 minute-walk, or they offer a free boat ride to the center. The Hostel facilities are comfortable, and the staff is very friendly. The job involved working on a sunset the boat on the Mekong river for tourists. We greeted and explained the activities on board, and the boat lasted about three hours. You could watch a beautiful sunset from the boat every day. The owner also asked us to teach basic English to the Hostel staff who work in the kitchen, which was a lot of fun.
