I had a really great time at the hostel! The hostel is really god and central and you have a lot of space to relax and have fun. Juan was an amazing host and really made me feel like family, specially when I was going through hard times. I would definitely recommend to any volunteer!

I had a very enriching experience in the hostel. the hostel was a great place to meet people from around the world and meet Santa Marta as a local. I also had the opportunity to visit the best tourist places around Santa Marta with Juan Carlos and the guests in the hostel. During my stay, I could use the facilities of the hostel including the kitchen, pool, TV room, workspace, and living room. Juan Carlos and his team were like family, very nice people, respectful, always willing to help, and understand my needs.

This was my first volunteer experience with WorldPackers and it was absolutely amazing! The host and hostel staff were very kind, friendly and welcoming, I felt like we became a family by the end of it. The host and I had a language barrier but were able to use google translate to communicate effectively and it encouraged me to learn spanish even more. The hours and requirements were agreed upon on the first day & were balanced well so that I was able to experience life in Santa Marta as well as have time to get my tasks done. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience & I can't wait for the next!

Santa Marta is a paradise on earth and staying at the hostel is an incredible experience because it is a cozy place with a unique energy that has the team. During my volunteering I lived with different people from different countries. Juan Carlos manages all the details so the hostel is clean, tidy and each member of the team knows what he has to do to make the tourist feel at home. It was my first experience living in a hostel and I will definitely come back.
