The Experience

Volunteer 5.5 hrs/day, 4 days/week with rotating shifts. Morning shift is from 7 am until 12:30 pm The afternoon shift is from 12:30 pm until 6 pm Tasks include reception, surfboard rentals, guest information, and maintaining clean and tidy spaces. Live with 6 volunteers in a shared dorm and kitchen. On off days, you can enjoy beach bonfires, waterfalls, and jungle hikes. Bring good vibes, responsibility, and a love for nature and surf!

The best time of my entire trip in Costa Rica! Volunteering here was the best experience of my entire time in Costa Rica. The location is stunning – right on the beach and surrounded by nature. I saw so many animals and felt truly connected to the place. From day one, I felt at home with the team. Julian is such a warm, funny, and genuine person who goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has the best possible experience. We went on unforgettable trips to hidden waterfalls and secret beaches – absolutely magical. I'd come back in a heartbeat. This place has something truly special!

I had an amazing time volunteering here! The work itself wasn't too hard or complicated and encouraged me to learn more about surfing and surf gear. I loved being able to easily surf every day. Everyone else at the hostel was super kind and welcoming as well! You really are living right in the jungle, but I very much enjoyed that and the whole experience.

Amazing experience with the other volunteers and guests too! Really great vibe with 5-6 volunteers so there's always something going on. Loved the opportunity to surf as much as I wanted too, not that many excursions, but it might just have been my timing. All in all enjoyed it very much

It was my first experience as a volunteer and I'm so grateful for it. Every day,every moment there was simply amazing, the nature is incredible the work is easily manageable with a lot of free time and fun. Everybody was so nice and kind,felt like we are a family. The host Julian is the kindest person ever, he really wants you to enjoy every minute while you are there and see as much you can (if you are open for adventures and doing sometimes crazy things you won't be bored 😆). This was my first solo traveling experience and first volunteer experience and I am so grateful this place is where I got to make that happen! I would love to come back one day whether as a volunteer or guest! I had an incredible time meeting some incredible new lifelong friends that I wouldn't trade for the world!
