I stayed for two weeks at Steve's Farm during Harvesting Season. Because of the Harvesting Season we were a few more people than normal, 15 to be exact. And while the work was hard it was Never more than we agreed on, and it makes you really connect with the other Backpackers. Steve is an absolutes wonderful Host, making everybody feel welcome and making sure you had a memorable stay. He organisied two Partys, let us stay in one of the abandoned House on his property as an Adventure and during our breaks we could Jump in the lake. The Food Steve cooked for us was delicious. 100% recomend.

Volunteering at Steve's Farm was an incredible experience. Steve was a great host, always creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere. After work, there was loads to do and explore. We loved the nights around the fire which Steve organised for everybody. The garlic harvest was physically hard, but the payback was worth it. Steve fixed lunch and dinner for us every day and always made sure nobody was ever hungry. Also, we were both vegeterians, which Steve paid attention to. We learned a lot about farming and the country life while meeting amazing people. Thank you Steve for an amazing time!

I had a great time at the farm! Steve was really welcoming and there was lots of other backpackers to make friends with. The farm is rural so it would be good to have a car if you have one. Your experience is definitely made by the other backpackers so keep that in mind. I learnt lots, I enjoyed being in the outdoors and I'm grateful to Steve for letting me stay.

I was here during the garlic harvest season with such a great team! Steve treated us all with respect and welcomed us like a family. He cooked amazing food for us and we all had an amazing time. The work can be physically tough some times but always feels very rewarding. The farm is located in a beutiful location and after work you have plenty of time to swim in the lake, go for walks or relax. It's a perfect place to go if you want to experience the aussie countryside, eat amazing food, work with your hands and save some money at the same time. Would totally recommend!

I loved my stay in Steve's farm ☘️ It was my first farming experience and the place was perfect for it as it provides various tasks to do between animal care, painting & renovating and field work with garlic, tumeric and ginger. The farm is a beautiful place, and the volunteers house is very cosy with a great view on the land and cows. No car or bus connects the farm to the town, so it's the perfect place to truly save money and fully connect with nature. If you come, make sure to spend some time with our beloved baby goat - Lily and shepherd dog Stella. Beanie
