What you offer

Hours per day: Help out and collaborate with your host only a few hours per week.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

The Experience

Would you like to live in a quiet home, surrounded by nature, while sharing your language and helping a Brazilian couple with light house tasks? We live with our lovely dog and cat 🐶🐱 and are looking for a volunteer to practice English (or another language) with us and help keep the house tidy and organized. You’ll be welcomed like a friend 🤗 — we love cultural exchange, nature, and meaningful conversations.

The hosts made us feel so welcome in their home and gave us everything we needed while we were here, going above and beyond for us. We learnt so much about brazilian culture, saw amazing nature and learnt a new way of life. It taught us things we would never know without immersing with locals. Ramon and Fran were very kind in only wanting conversation from us, and were both very easy to speak to, with good English, and so we happily did this everyday, especially after a few beers. They also gave us the days to ourselves to explore, as well as showing us the local area on the weekend.
