The hostel was my first volunteer experience, and it will probably ruin my standards from now on - because this is the best place ever. The owners (Charlie and Styx), and the manager (Chris), always makes sure to check up on you and if I needed anything I knew I could talk to them. The work here is perfectly balanced between socialising with the guests in fun activities and helping out in the bar. The local staff will always help you practice your Spanish skills and will always greet you with a smile. The accommodation is fine! Thank you for the most amazing month❤️

The hostel was my first volunteering and i knew from the first day that i would extend. I spent 5 unforgettable weeks in Ometepe and met the local team which i'm really sad to leave. The island is a little paradise where you can drive around with a scooter, watch sunset over the volcanos and use paddle boards at playa mango, party for Wet Wednesday and in hostels around where you'll meet other volunteers, enjoy fireshows and plenty of workshops, make friends who live on the island. I truly loved working at the bar, taking pictures and be a part of the school project with the kids. Love y'all 🐲

I had an amazing time in the hostel! It is a fun and beautiful island, and the location of the hostel is ideal! The volunteer house is a little basic, but I learned to love it! And it comes with a dog 🥹 The tasks are fun, rewarding and easy. The local staff is amazing to work with, and the work exchange is really fair. Charlie is superflexible and appreciative of us volonteers and I really felt a lot of freedom over my time and energy in my time here. This is rarely good here in the hostel compared to other experiences! Thank you the hostel and Charlie! I really recommend this hostel. 🫶🏻

I stayed here for a out three weeks and i absolutely loved it, the local staff we are lovely and really nice, they were always available to help if anything was needed, the work environment was super chill and the owner really makes you feel welcomed. The dogs there were also super friendly and cute, would 100% be back at the hostel !
