The Experience
Come help at our farm surrounded by the pure and untouched forests of southeastern Albania. Our property has a farm to table restaurant where volunteers can enjoy eating our organic food and taste traditional dishes for all meals. Volunteer responsibilities vary based on need. You can expect to help in the kitchen, restaurant, garden, and farm animal care, including cows, chicken, ducks, horses, goats, sheep, cats, dogs, and bees.

The family and workers were all very nice. We had chances to look into the farming and at the weekends into the restaurant work. As we were there of season and during very bad weather conditions we sadly weren't able to da lot except for staying inside and waiting, which is definitely not the farm Sotiras fault. But that was the opportunity for us to learn about traditional food, learning card games from Sara and learning traditional dancing wth Jonida and Florida, which was all great fun. The hosts were always ready to help uns. Just the "working hours" were unclear, maybe as it was of season.

We had bad luck with the weather, so there were not a lot of customers and we had not a lot of work. The working times were a bit unclear. The family and workers were very nice and welcomed us warmly. The food is delicious and you can really get to know Albanian culture. The animals are great and I imagine it a very nice place in summer, where you can work in hospitality and help with the animals.

Nida and her family made me feel welcome from the first moment, and the farm is beautiful. There is a lot of work, but the staff is also big. The experience was lovely, they are all friendly people, and the food is plentiful. I would definitely recommend this experience. I'll miss the peace of the place and the new friends I made there. Naunca, the grandmother, and Lena, the auntie, are the most lovely people you'll ever meet. They gave me Albanian language classes! A truly special experience that I'll carry forever in my heart. Faleminderit shumë!

Disfrute mucho este voluntariado, Nida y Toni fueron muy amables, al igual que las personas que trabajan allí. Probé comida de la región que ellos mismos cultivan y producen. Me llevo buenos recuerdos de todos. Gracias. This volunteer experience was fantastic. Nida and Toni were super friendly and the staff were great too. I loved trying the local produce they grow and make themselves. I'll always remember the wonderful people I met. Thanks!"
