The Experience
Once we’re up and running (mid July), we’ll be looking for some Daily Dynamo's to help keep things flowing in all areas! That means helping at the bar, reception, housekeeping, maybe organizing a guest activity or two—basically being part of the everyday magic of hostel life. If you’ve got a skill you’d love to share—photography, yoga, painting, DIY, whatever—we’re always open to new ideas!

Voy a intentar ser objetivo con mi primera experiencia de voluntariado que me tocó en el hostel. Creo que en resumen estuvo bien. Algunas cosas que me llamaron la atención. 1. No trabajan por objetivos diarios. Esto quiere decir que mientras más trabajes, más trabajo te van a dar con lo que sigue. 2. Son 3 personas las encargadas del hostel pero se suelen contradecir en la distribución de tareas o reglas. 3. No permiten visitas. 4. Me llama la atención que eviten que podamos compartir el espacio común con los huéspedes. Bueno, espero le sirva mi review al próximo voluntario :)

Hola Hiras, gracias por tu feedback. Solo aclaramos que sí trabajamos con metas diarias claras, comunicadas antes de cada turno. Somos 5 en el equipo y nos coordinamos a diario, aunque a veces haya pequeñas confusiones. Sobre tu amigo: no hay problema en compartir un rato con alguien, pero por seguridad necesitamos saber si alguien externo entra al hostel. Buen viaje y gracias por tu paso por Soley!
