This experience was so refreshing in so many ways. I felt connected with nature, was able to eat healthy and had incredible conversations with Sophie and Micheal. Her leadership skills are great and we learned so much from her as she is a great teacher. The work was labor intensive, but very manageable and the hours are great as it gives you a lot of the day to hike and relax. I would definitely recommend this experience to other travelers as it was my favorite World Packers experience so far.

Sophie was a wonderful host and went out of her way to make the experience special for us. She treated us to two amazing homemade barbecues and even took us to a wine tasting. The accommodation was also nice as we had plenty of food to cook and our own private space across from the guest house. There are beautiful hikes in the area and the pool is very nice if guests aren't using it. The work was as described and if we didn't know how to do something, she taught us with clear instructions. I would recommend this experience for anyone looking for a beautiful view and reset with nature.

When my girlfriend and i were looking for volunteering opportunities, we really wanted a deep experience where we could mix work with getting to know another culture, and now we can say we are so glad that we chose the guest house. Sophie excells in every aspect of being a host. She is a great leader, and also a great teacher, since we got there with literally zero experience, and left feeling like gardening pros haha. The accomodation is charming, fully equipped and also stocked with a variety of foods. The place itself is really beautiful, calm, and with amazing views. My advice: go for it! 😁

Thank you both so much for all your help and creativity. You were wonderful company and I will miss having you around. The Pachamamas that you built around the garden are now part of the story of this beautiful historic property. I hop we meet again someday.

As my first volunteering experience, it couldn't have been better. The contact with nature and the proposed tasks were a true invitation to disconnect and live in the present, appreciating the beautiful landscapes and the symphony of birdsong. The place is beautiful, very well maintained, and decorated with such great taste that I don't even have words to describe it. And Sophie is a person with incredible energy—calm, attentive, always supportive, and constantly available to help. It's a great opportunity to practice both English and Spanish at the same time. Thank you Sophie for everything!
