The Experience

We are Ilaria and Fabian, two souls living in Rurberg, a small village in the Eifel region of Germany, and our little son Noah (under 1 yo). Our home is surrounded by forests, lakes, and plenty of opportunities to connect with nature. If you enjoy quiet, natural surroundings and a simple lifestyle, this is the place for you. The village is 40 minutes by car from Aachen. It doesn't have a supermarket, but the nearest one is 10 minutes by car.

I enjoyed my time in Rurberg and I felt at home with Ilaria, Fabian and Noah! The work was as described, I never had to do anything I didn't feel like doing, and I had the chance to meet other travelers and local people. The village is quite small but connected by bus; this location is ideal for people who are looking to relax and connect with nature.
