My experience at Marrakesh Sports Center was magnificent, from the first moment I arrived Yahia showed me the whole place, He explained the activities which are very easy (reception and a day at the restaurant) the schedules were respected, the room was perfect because I had a private room with air conditioning throughout my stay, you can use the pool, the gym, kitchen, everything. The local workers were very friendly, there was never a communication barrier and I even learned a little about Darija. I would go back a thousand times, thank you for everything and welcome to Mexico

Although this experience made me fall in love with Morocco and ALL of the staff and managers were so sweet, I can't wholly recommend this experience. I really wish I could, but the kitchen was almost unusable, bathrooms no TP or soap and dirty, only WIFI sometimes, must buy water, unhygienic cleaning practices, etc . I do have to say that communication was amazing, hours were respected, there was AC in the rooms, and I really liked working the breakfast shift. But I'm just not sure if all the cons are worth it. You're also an hour bus ride from city center or 30 minute taxi, not 20 minutes.

I had a genuinely positive experience at the hotel, largely thanks to the lovely staff who made me feel welcome and comfortable. The room was also one of the nicest I've stayed in compared to other hostels. While there were a few issues, like inconsistent meal portions, kitchen cleanliness, and a water fee for volunteers, I saw that steps were already being taken to improve these. I truly appreciate the ongoing efforts and hope they continue moving in that direction.

I wouldn't recommend this hostel for anyone who cares about cleanliness and security. There are no locks or safes in the rooms, so you have to trust strangers. The kitchen is filthy — full of trash on the counter, floor, and even in the sink — making it impossible to cook. The bathroom smelled bad, there was feces on the floor, and the showers didn't work properly. It's a very dirty and disorganized place with a lot of work. The only decent part is the pool and gym, but I didn't use them. I left on my second day, just like another volunteer who couldn't stay either.
