It is a business, so be prepared to work. The days are long 6:30-3. You get one day off but you are very far from town so it isn't walkable or easily accessible. Breakfast and lunch are provided with the other workers. I wouldn't say it was much of a cultural exchange, you really are just there as another worker and are expected to get a lot done. The property is beautiful.

Una experiencia muy agradable. Desde el inicio Nicolás fue muy abierto en lo que uno podía ayudar en la hacienda. Fue muy chévere aprender de la siembra y cosecha, del negocio, del jardín y de muchas cosas que pasan alrededor de la finca. Una oportunidad para aprender. Durante mi estadía pude estar desconectado de la ciudad y disfrutar de la calma y energía de las montañas hondureñas. Mil gracias a Nicolas y al equipo de trabajo por su compartir y apoyo.

En mi estadía por the farm Paraíso pude trabajar en el sector de siembra de los diferentes productos, aprendiendo sobre sus cuidados. También en el transplante de estas a la tierra, desafiándome con mis destrezas en la montaña. Luego estuve apoyando en el sector de empaque, distribuyendo el producto ya limpio y listo para su destino de venta. Don Nicolas es un señor que se da el tiempo para explicarte qué cosas puedes hacer en Honduras, aconsejándote de la mejor manera. Es un lindo lugar para aprender y ayudar en los cultivos. Disfrutando de la montaña y de los diferentes animalitos.

Una hermosa hacienda con un personal amable y un trabajo desafiante. El lugar esta ubicado a media hora del pueblo lo que me permitió disfrutar de la tranquilidad del campo. Recibí desayuno y almuerzo, mis tareas fueron ayudar en la cocina, yo lo elegí, me sentí más útil en esa área que en el campo. Gracias a Nicolás por ser flexible. Me bastó con una semana para apreciar el arduo trabajo de los agricultores. Agradezco a todos en la granja.
