The Experience
We are an Hare Krsna community living in the wonderful countryside of Florence. We look for a person that wishes to help us caring of our 9 cows. We protect cows and establish with them a very profound and loving relationship. We practice simple living and high thinking. We look for a person that can stay on a long term.

The community is a beautiful place surrounded by beautiful nature - the hills of Tuscany, forests and vineyards; beautiful sounds - music and singing, wind chimes and the birds; beautiful scents - delicious food and the scents of incenses; and beautiful people - full of love, kindness, acceptance and devotion. It's a place with an incredibly peaceful atmosphere that will encourage you to slow down and enjoy the simple things. It was a great experience! The people here are super nice, you feel very welcomed and safe. :) The tasks are mostly serving food and cleaning, but you nearly always do them together with others, so they aren't to hard. Also, it is super easy to travel with a bus to Florence and San caciaono!! And the nature is breathtaking. I went on a hike nearly every day and loved to explore the woods and fields surrounding the villa.

I had a lovely time at the community, it's located in the most stunning nature, there is even a small lake nearby, which is perfect for hot summer days. Also the public transportation is easily accessible to visit towns nearby. People there were really nice, the food was amazing, I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a mindful, calm atmosphere to focus on oneself without any bigger distractions.

My Villa Vridanaba was good. The place is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and has a peaceful atmosphere that truly helps you relax. The people were very kind and welcoming. However, due to their cultural practices, they are quite strict with vegetarian food so be prepared to follow a vegetarian diet during your stay.
