My stay at the host was incredible. The team was very welcoming, friendly and easy to get in touch with. Also Nicolas and Margaret were helpful and showed me everything I needed to know. The environment was heartfelt and openminded. Nicolas really made sure I feel comfortable in my room and with the work I was doing, in addition he is open to compromises. Roundstone is a small village, for more action I would go there in summertime, but if you are looking for a getaway to connect with yourself it's best to be there off season. Thank you, for this unforgettable month. I'll be back! :)

Excellent place to meet people from all over the world and practice English. The entire staff is nice. The manager, Nicholas, is very friendly. They even lend you a bicycle to explore the area. Roundstone is too quiet place sometimes but beautiful. It was my first experience as a volunteer, so I don't have another comparison, but I really enjoy my stay there.

My stay in Roundstone gave me the chance to get to know locals and a fabulous staff. The staff is from all over the world and is very friendly. You are quickly included in the team. I also appreciated the beautiful landscapes around! Nicholas, the manager, gave me the opportunity to use a bike to discover the village. I used to walk a lot and I also visited Galway, Clifden and Wesport. However, if you want to discover more things in Connemara, I would recommend you to get your own car.

Lovely nature around Roundstone and the host itself is a nice environment to be in. Hosts are welcoming and communicative. The work is enjoyable and straightforward and the accomodation equiped and comfortable. I'd definitely recommend the walk to Dog's Bay and the weather isn't that bad (for Ireland) !
