The Experience

My grandparents used to live here but they passed away so this is not just an old house but a loved home. Now we're turning it into student housing (there's a big housing crisis in Portugal now) The house is already livable but still needs work to be fully concluded. At the moment we're fighting with a water infiltration and also need a lot of restauration work - sanding, painting

I loved my time with Inês, she was extremely nice and very easy to work with. I chose to work in the morning so from 9-1300, then we would have lunch and I spent the rest of my time exploring. Over the weekend I took a trip to Lisbon and when my train got delayed on the way back Inês was super understanding and we had no problems. The two other people in the house are working on their masters degrees so I didn't see them too much, but when I did they were very kind and helped when I needed it. I mostly worked on sanding hand rains and door frames, as well as applying varnish.
