What you offer

Hours per week: Help out and collaborate with your host only a few hours per week.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

(HIGHLY RECOMMEND) I had a great experience volunteering (first time)at the hostel. I owe a big part of the great experience to having some of the best co-volunteers at my time there. We really came together as a group to help each other when we didn't know how to handle an issue or particular situation. We were always there for each other even when we were not working and I truly appreciated that “family vibe”. The manager has an efficient system of letting the volunteers come together to make their schedules but ensuring that everyone gets two days off (and in a row I may add).

Volunteering at Hostel Durrës was such a beautiful experience, and I couldn't have asked for a better first time. From the very beginning, Antea welcomed me with so much kindness, she's not only an amazing host but also became a dear friend, someone I know I'll keep in my heart. The other volunteers were like family to me, and together we created such special memories. The hostel has this cozy, family-like atmosphere where it's easy to connect, laugh, and share life.I'm so grateful for the time and can't wait to come back. 💙

Antea was an amazing manager, she resolved the problems when we had some! She's worried about volunteers; the tasks are so easy, the hostel is cozy and the main of the guests were such amazing! Durres is a nice place to visit, the beach is very close and the food prices are convenient!

My weeks at the hostel were incredible. Antea is wonderful and takes great care of all the volunteers. The work is exactly as described, and shifts are flexible among volunteers. The hostel is in a wonderful location, right in the central square and very close to the beach. I loved the city and I'm sure that volunteering here had a big influence on that. When I return to Durres, I will definitely come back here to visit everyone again!

I really enjoyed my time at Hostel Durrës. Antea made everything super easy to understand from day one, and the atmosphere with the other volunteers was always respectful and friendly.
