Rincon del Mar is an amazing place, a beautiful authentic experience, the experience with the host was good as well and the interaction with the team really great. The accomodation was also ok, the only thing that was a bit disturbing was the fact that a damaged mosquito net was provided and keeping in mind the location very close to the mangroove, the mosquitos really had feast. For a moment I felt that my volunteering here has a negative impact on the laboral life of the locals, as the guy living bext door and working in the reception was not called to work anymore from the day I start.

I read your comment on the platform and felt the need to share a few things with you, with kindness and honesty, just to clarify some points that didn't quite resonate with me. Jamel didn't stop working because you arrived. Actually, he missed work several times due to various personal situations. At one point, he wanted to work both at his aunt's restaurant on the corner of the neighborhood and in the park

Rincon del Mar é um lugar muito lindo, tranquilo e perfeito para relaxar. Há alguns tour que deixam a experiência muito mais rica. Sobre o voluntariado, é bem tranquilo. As staffs são umas queridas e a vibe do hostel em si, é bem agradável. Preciso pontuar que, pode ser que você faça alguma atividade fora do combinado e se não estiver em turno e precisarem de você, talvez terá que resolvê-la. Acredito que algumas situações da qual passei não teriam acontecido se houvesse um pouco mais de comunicação e orientação. São detalhes que aconteceram mas bão atrapalharam minha experiência geral

El hostel fue un lugar muy lindo que me enseñó muchas cosas bonitas. Conocí a Tania y Daniel, dos personas increíbles y súper amables. Las tareas de la casa son sencillas y eso te deja tiempo para disfrutar y recorrer Rincón del Mar. Conectas con otros viajeros, las chicas de la casa son muy queridas y los espacios son cómodos, tranquilos y acogedores. Sin duda, volvería a hacer este voluntariado 🤍

Mi voluntariado con el hostel was amazing! Ha sido mi primera experiencia como voluntario y estoy muy agradecido por todo lo he aprendí. La cultura y las experiencias por vivir en el Rincón del mar son únicas y valen la pena. Es un paraíso y las tareas en la casa son muy sencillas y fáciles de hacer. Les recomiendo a todos vivir esta experiencia 🙌🏻
