I had a wonderful time at the hostel! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The staff members are doing their best to make this experience pleasant and enjoyable. You'll make lots of friends there and immerse yourself in Roman culture!

The team was very welcoming and friendly. They cared, advised and helped me a lot. The work is quite easy, although the nightshifts do not promote a healthy sleep schedule, so keep that in mind. The hostel is located in the hostel, and it took me about 30 minutes to walk to Vatican or the centre by foot. The location made it very easy to explore Rome in my free time and rest days. The hostel staff also recommended many great places which I do not regret visiting. The accomodation may feel a bit packed, but spending free time in bed in Rome would be a mistake anyway. I definitely recommend.

This was my first volunteer experience, and it highly exceeded my expectations. The hostel team is extremely kind and always available for any needs volunteers may have. Truly an experience I highly recommend… During those months there, they became a second home. Thank you for everything!!! Xx

The experiencie was pretty nice, it was my first volunteer and I appreciate so much for this oportunity to work and live in rome. All the staff are good and caring people and they were very good to me and the guests :) the tasks are easy and the hostel have good vibes The work is 5 days a week, you can clean, organize the breakfast or do the night shift The best part for me was meeting and connecting with the guests! I hope everything goes well with the hostel and the staff s2

The experience was overall pretty good. The Staff is very nice, the work can get boring, mostly for the night shifts, but its not hard at all. What I feel needs some changes is that sometimes you get asked to do things outside of your shifts which even when they arent much, makes it a bit frustrating. Still I would recommend coming here if you want to volunteer in rome.

The experience was amazing! The staff is very kind and friendly. I had a lot of fun. You will have two night shifts or so a week which will leave you tired for the entire rest of the next day. And I noticed that we worked more hours than what was actually agreed upon. They do give you money to buy food daily at the grocery store which you will need to split between 5-6 people. The door of the room where the volunteers does not have a lock and water leaks from the pipes in the walls cause the walls in the volunteer room to be wet and will probably turn into mold if it has not already.

The hours were as agreed upon and Fabio was very welcoming and kind. I struggled with the night shift hours and felt I was tired all the time but that was a personal issue. The breakfast was great, you are given €25 a day for all the volunteers to share which I found hard to plan meals around. The work itself is easy but the night shift is definitely difficult staying awake if you aren't used to it. Overall easy work, kind people but a hard schedule to adjust to. Rome is amazing!

It was a really nice place, and the work shifts let you visit Rome a lot. the only long shift is the night shift, but it passes quickly. I had a really good time.

If you're looking for a place to have a good time, this is not the place for you. My experience was frustrating, despite the good reviews. The hostel is cheap, but it lacks basics like lockers, personal sockets, and proper bed separation. There's no breakfast or dinner, just €25 per day for 10 volunteers. We had a miss understanding and Fabrizio and Marco did not listened me being rude and disrespectful, giving me last than 24h hours to leave without support, even though I was sick and alone in a foreign country. Maybe I was just not lucky enough, but I really hope you could choose better.

Hello Victoria! I really didn't expect your review. Because I would not have liked to answer you, as it would not be good for your next experiences. But here we go...
You forgot to mention that we decided to end your volunteering on your own merit. Since your second shift you arrived 1 hour late, drunk, and accompanied by a person from outside the hostel in an expensive way.
Nobody left you in the street, you were even here 5 days after we had decided to end the volunteering.
